    Rebuild

I didn't get any reports of protest when the "Old Crank" was boxed up.

    About to get bored....

To recap, the runout on the cylinders is about 0.0030 or 30 thousandths. The cylinders will be bored over 0.0020 and new "20 over" CP Pistons will be fitted.

to clear up any confusion because math and machinist have 2 different languages. This will clear up the error in the post.......
I have noticed this quite a bit lately on the forums. It's important this is correct.

Red may be faster, but black will not show the oil drips all engines develop over time. I painted my MG engine black to match the oil..... :D

I like the steel grey choice, I think it will look cool. especially with the aluminum bits that go on it.

I think you should put a glass window in the block so we can see all those wonderful new parts spinning around. :)

I don't think purple would be a good match with all the Space Blue bits...

How about Alpine White, sure would make it easy to see any leaks as they start!

Going 20 over on cylinders that are 30 out still doesn't get you a round cylinder, but now it will be within spec I assume.

Just curious what the runout spec is on a good boring?
