Hey, you brought it up, not me.

I have no intention on doing a shirt to commemorate the car being walked on.

Hahaha, I think we ought to do #2 in the series "The Repaint". We can have Jason "The Hipster" do a design.

No, that would require a helmet on the street so I don't crack my head open on a bar hitting a big bump.

    Pad the bar.

Besides, you'd probably do more damage to the bar with your head than vice-versa:biggrin5:.

Had to run over to the shop and pick up stuff that was in the car. Took a few pics while there.

    Dismantling the interior.

Now that they are working on it you can really see all the damage. What a shame. :frown5:

Since it is in the shop getting paint, I've asked them to fix other areas such as the broken side skirt, clean up and repaint the stone chips on the rear arches, remove some rust along with various other small areas that need some work. This extra work is all on my dime.

While I don't expect it be a pristine factory like paint job, a lot of the accumulated patina is going to be "fixed".

There has been some discussion as to what the Silver top paint code actually is, the shop contacted MINI directly and found out it is in fact Pure Silver Metallic, paint code 900.

MoM Gang Stripes and the Smushed Gnat will be coming back.

They got the car back to me so I can enjoy the 2nd Annual Dark Helmet Brewery Tour. There are some items that still need to be addressed.
