    I can confirm Mr. and Mrs Jnky have made it to the rental car agency and will soon be headed towards Downtown Austin. :)

    Btw, you know F1 is in town because we had conversations with random people about teams/drivers.

    Thanks, Brian. What I and my wife got with the pictures are some of the behind the scene stories that go along with the pics. Truly fascinating and something most fans never think about when watching the circus.

    Not too bad. Only took 20 Minutes to get to the track. The place is already filling up with people with flags and whatnot.

    You got to drive that new Spanish owned tool road with the 85mph speed limit?

    Something makes me think that the traffic will pick up more and more every day. I'd not rely on that 20 min figure again this weekend.

    Pit looks pretty flat from where we are. I think it might be a visual effect. On a side note, trying to take a picture of a fast-moving car with the point-and-shoot camera requires a certain degree of timing. Hopefully I'll get to post some pictures tonight when we get back to the hotel.

    Think thats an optical trick, pit lane appears to be flat, just the way the picture was taken with the uphill in the back makes it look downhill.
