I do dig their badges. Would be nice if they were magnetic and did not require a new holder, though.

 

I just got one of their 3D badges, and there is a magnetic sheet on the back. I have a domed one on order and I believe it also has the magnetic back.

 

That is good to know. Will it fit the build-a-badge holder.

Not on the OEM holder. Mounted with the GoBadges holder. The OD is exactly 3", with a back layer of that brown ruberized magnet sheet. So it should work just fine with the OEM holder. It sticks just fine to any steel surface.

By the way, that little white speck on the southeast corner is the M/U trademark insignia.

 

Jim, If the build-a-badge can accept at least a 3" diameter disc and if it has a steel backing plate, I see no reason why it wouldn't work. The 3D GoBadges are a buildup of two layers of colored acrylic sheet that have the third backing material made from that rubberized magnet.
