Golf taught me about patience and the realization that life is like the game. Sometimes you have a good shot, you know the one, where the sound and contact feel is perfect and you get the ball where you aimed but sometimes it does not go as planned. I recently bought a used Mini Cooper S 2006. I went for a drive with my spouse and I looked over to her and said " honey, where are we going?" The top was down and I felt this calming feeling about life. Life! as hard as it is, sometimes has a moment of joy, and like the second shot in golf, keeps us going.
Sometimes it doesn't matter where you're going. You get in and motor on. It's like how I golf. Sometimes I hit the ball and have no idea where it's going to land. I just walk up to it and hit the next shot. Welcome to Motoring Alliance and can't wait to see pix of your car. Here's me hitting my only guaranteed hole-in-one. (a snowball into Bryce Canyon).
Thanks for the welcoming, it is funny how this car has turned into an obsession (controlled by the wallet). I find myself excited about working on this car. One reason is I am fortunate to have another vehicle to drive to work. When I was younger if something needed to be done with the car I had to finish it. A car always has a personal feel when you are the one working on it. Pictures and more conversation to follow-Be safe
