The site data shows that more and more people are using Google Chrome as the browser of choice. In the past month Chrome has moved from being used on M/A less than 1% of the time to over 10%. Thats a pretty big increase. In that vein I thought it might be a good idea to share the plugins and extensions we use. SpeedDial - replace Chrome new tab with your predefined visual bookmarks. Web Developer - The Web Developer extension adds a toolbar button to the browser with various web developer tools. TooManyTabs - Ever tried having 20 tabs or more open in Chrome? You can’t even see the favicon of the tabs, not to mention the tab titles! If that happens to you, TooManyTabs is a must-have extension that manages your tabs, reduces your tab overflow, and saves your sanity! ChromeMilk - Requires the use of the Gmail app Remember the Milk and adds a Remember the Milk access point in Chrome. I use this to create reminders of things to do that then syncs across the PC, Laptop, iPhone and iPad. After the Deadline - After the Deadline uses artificial intelligence to check spelling, style, and grammar. Use it to check your tweets, find mistakes in your email, and socialize with confidence. I use a bunch of others but they are very specialized developer tools so I didn't add them to the list.
Just added Remember the Milk. Never heard of it but I think its about to get used a lot!! Kevin Florence, AL
A favicon (short for favorites icon), also known as a shortcut icon, website icon, URL icon, or bookmark icon is a 16×16 pixel square icon associated with a particular website or webpage. That tiny M/A shield in the tab for this site is a favicon.
