Sold the R53 a while back and picked up a 135i. That car was fast but not as much fun as the mini. So I traded it for this! I'm having more fun than ever.

Gorgeous car. Looks great without the red stripes, IMO.

:cornut: Beautiful JCW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like all the 'Red' in the interior. How about some driving impressions, especially as compared to other MINIs(or even lessor cars) that you may have driven.

Hey whats up everybody! So many familiar faces!... or screen names! haha
Driving impressions- Right off the lot the thing is on RAILS! the car is incredibly tight. I figured since I'm in southern california I'll embrace the lifestyle and get a convertible.. I love driving with the top down. The car needs a little more torque thats one thing I miss from the grown-up car. haha
I just ordered an intake just to get some noise satisfaction.. I thinking long term going with downpipe, IC and a tune.

And yes I'm not a fan of the red stripes. I like the clean simple look.
    Thanks again!

I'm gonna try and make it to the vegas trip fingers crossed I'll be done with overtime by then!

    intake

beautiful roadster Where did you order your intake from, I've only seen it available on defenders of speed, wondering if it was cheaper anywhere else.

Just purchased the Alta intake from a Member on NAM.
You can get alot of great deals in the marketplace!
I was having a hard time wanting to spend $300 on something that really wasnt going to buy me a whole lot other than sound and a few HP.

Just installed the Alta hot air intake.
I do enjoy the turbo. I find this turbo setup sounds pretty odd. I like it though... I need to get more power in this thing. I think I'm gonna start working my wat to a down-pipe and an IC... then the tune.
For now this will hold me over... for a week or two. haha
