I saw one today at the dealership and every one says 1 of 2000 on the dash.

The dealer has 4 of the right now. 2 Pre ordered, one for the owner and one to sell.

Car is even more ugly in person but the front brakes are HUGE and the inside leather and red stitching looks nice.

My car is has more HP and is still faster.

so number 1 of the sticker JCW's is in the US...which really isnt 0001 as the original number 1 is probably in the BMW museum now

 

Saw GP036 at Ralph Schomp MINI today, saw another on the lot with no number on the roof, but it had a black space waiting for it.

How were these supposed to work for numbering, will an owner please jump in!

 

its a decal they are putting over the black section...just one more gaudy sticker on an already overloaded car

 

the brakes are lifted from a BMW 135i M Sport package

US GP0001 is now on Autotrader with a $10,000 markup. Really. :crazy:

 

So someone thinks there is a 10K valuation for having 001.

I don't see it, but hey, why not try if you can.

Yup, for a sticker and some false advertising. The ad reads "This is car # 0001 of 2000 Units Produced for The Entire World." It is not. Just sticker #0001 on the US cars, all of which read "1 of 2000" on the dash. They've been on sale in Europe since November 2012.

It's not going to sell at that price. The thing about identical cars is that they are all worth the same. And this is technically a used car, so arguably worth less than one from a dealer. Oh well, nice try.
