    You could always mount & wire up a set of Hella 500 fogs in the lower grill. Wire them up using the harness you already have. Just my .02 but MINIs look great with lights on the front of them. :D

    Foglights on a GP are like very large mammary glands with ginormous areola on a somewhat effeminate bull. Them holes are for brake ducts, like Dave said.

    Thanks for the info. I personally do not have a GP, but I was lucky enough to get a front bumper cover assembly and retrofit my '06 MCS with it.
    I had functioning fog lights previously and would like to have them again, but I haven't seen any good options out there.

    I thought about that, but it would involve removing more plastic than I'd like.
    There are inserts like the bell of a horn that would need to be cut, and in my opinion, would result in looking bad.
    I am thinking that the best option is to get a small set of LED fogs and only cut a hole in the back, black plastic behind the horn-like piece and affix it some how.
    That way it would still look like a GP, just with lights.

    I've only done the rear foglight retrofit (fully functional with a Euro toggle panel) in a GP1.

    Have seen at least one R53 GP with the front foglight retrofit, which requires cutting into a very expensive bumper. Here is a pic...

    No you did everything right, we just do not read well. :rolleyes:

    If you add your car info to your signature line it save us old folks from looking at what section you posted in. :lol:

    As for fogs on the original GP (Congrats by the way) I have not really see anyone add fogs and post about it. I am sure it has been done but I have not seen it.

    Yeah they did not come with fog lights those areas were used to simulate brake ducts and keep the car light.

    I have see GPs that have cut them out and added real brake ducts for racing but I have not seen anyone cut them out and add fog lights.

    I like the GP front bumper but I have a JCW aero bumper that still has the fog holes. I think you could make a template and cut the GP bumper for your OEM fogs.
