    Thanks guys.

I am back by popular demand, it's seems a unicorn and rainbow site with out any controversy equals no traffic. I am still the same person so nothing has changed.

This site is a niche site with R53 and R56 owners with a few new F series owners sprinkled in. MA will never be the go to site for all MINI owners of all generations to be together and sing kumbiya to BMW. The F56 world in on Facebook with LXM and all the drama that goes along with Facebook.

As for the NAM it is a slow dying site with no Mods lots of new people trying to reinvent the wheel just to run themselves over with it.

MA was and can again become the go to site for 1st and 2nd gen owners to get real information from members and vendors that actually know what they are taking about because we have been there done that.

So Scott I see you continue posting in threads and adding nothing.

FYI I have always been able to read MA and see all the stuff including the things you and others posted about me after I was banned.

    So Motor On Scott

I actually wanted an auto when I bought the last Jeep, but after some research I found that the auto trannys don't hold up with big tires and heavy off-road use. So I went with the 6 speed manual.
I have wheeled hard on both auto's and manuals, and there is no real better advantage to either. The type of crawling I do, I'm normally locked into first or second in 4-low...

You made me go and dig up some pic's of the ZooK... I really miss this thing and shoulda kept it. The 8.5:1 low range in the transfer-case gave the little 1.3 the power to climb walls, or twist the driveshafts into candy-canes! (Done both) And the way I built the suspension, everybody said it wouldn't be flexible off road... Those people were idiots! [emoji12]

The new Dave is a slightly larger version of the old one, with a more fish-eyed look. Gone are the oval accents on all his manly accessories, replaced by a rectangular motif. Overall more refined, at the expense of the loss of much of the edginess. Gone are the nike shirts and dark sunglasses; in their place are Ralph Lauren Polo shirts with function less pockets and false eyelashes.

I was asked to come back because this site was dying a slow death like the NAM.

Like normal Scott you contribute nothing just like few others on here. You are really only on here to waste time until God calls for you.

Also I am not a new Dave.1 because I still do not give a S*^%# what anyone thinks about me.

I am still me, I say what I say when I want to say it. If you don't like it don't reply, just skip my post. I really don't give a rats a$$ about anyone's feelings and never have.

Is that clear enough for you and others?

The site wasn't the same without Dave... It actually got boring here for a while. [emoji20]
Dave does keep things lively, which keeps members, wether they are a lover or a hater of the old .0, they stay for the short bursts of excitement or to laugh at the poor SOB, but either way it makes people keep logging in.

I personally like Dave and his internet antics, even though he can get carried away at times, and I'm glad he's back! Now I don't have to resort to FB to dish a little shift into the fire. [emoji2]
