    That is a good one.:Thumbsup: I installed on on a friends MINI.

    The other kind that is a bolt on kind required the removal of the grill for me to install it on my wife's clubman. Not an easy job.

    I have the strap one, easy to install and remove with an R53, not sure about an R56.

    thanks everyone !!! I just ordered the Go Badges one -

    while I like the look of the older ones...the thought of taking my grill off at this point freaks me out a little bit.

    The go badge is good. It took me all of 60sec to put it on. You can put other badges in it. The screw on ring holds the badges in better too.

    Lift the bonnet & done pretty much. On an R56 it takes 2 minutes. :)

    I have the GoBadge Badge Bar on my rear plate and a single one on my grill, both in (expensive!) chrome color.

    I got the rear license plate/badge holder....did you happen to get the covers for them or are they just placed on there?

    Ok. Put in the single badge holder today The license plate holder (with MA badge) will go on when the new plates come in !!

    Umm... I would like to say yes but it took me a while to figure out how to get it tight enough so it wasnt flopping around...

    but now its ok....I think.... :wink: Lets just say I will be checking it when I get home !

    I just got my 05 R53 convertible, can someone clue me in to what is the importance of the badge? Why would I have one ?

    :cornut: No importance at all. It's just traditional to have grill badges(MINI clubs and other organizations or informational) on European (sports) cars. Look at my albums in my garage and you'll see 8 or so on the front grill/license plate, lower grill, and even more on the boot hatch.:Thumbsup:
