You're welcome Larry, and thanks for the use of your GP. Not a large market but always fun to think of new projects.
Thought I would throw a couple of photos up, of the wing you saw, to hear what responses there may be:

Hey Joel
You must have been reading my mind. I told one of my track buddies about the wing. I'll PM you. I really like that wing as an option if you can't afford or like the GP style. The one in the pic is really sharp looking and functional. -

So Joel, what's the difference between that and that diffuser you put under my R53 spoiler and JSart extension at MOTD? Except for the larger fins, it looks to be the same concept.

Hello Joel,
Glad you made it over here on MA.
The tip is looking good!
I still have your pro type you sent eons ago and will be mounting it after the new paint on the rest of the MINI. -
Any pictures of the JCW Rear Wing parts for the R56 and when it will be ready for sale.

I have lots of G4 splitter Pictures in my M/A Garage located here:
Chili-PA's Garage :: The Mistress
Also I do not scrape on anything even speedbumps. I have only ever scraped 2x's on two really steep driveways going to flat upslope surfaces and even then it was just the tips on the front lower nuts.
The G4 guys are all very cool, knowledgeable and dedicated on making products that work and just dont look cool. Well maybe not Wayne...JUST KIDDING!
I think you all know what I mean when I say they are making real functional not ornamental areo products that reall work. I still need to call Joel the the wing modding Mastermind about converting my CF JCW "Floppy Wing" to a functional JCW / GP style hybrid wing.
Here is one picture from my garage but you can click on the link above for all the others.

Putting our splitter on your AERO facia was a first. It really finished off the purpose of the front
. We had a great time working with you

That looks good, but there is no way in the world that will ever clear my driveway. My desire for a removable version stand.

When you mount it you can use 3 new (longer) bolts and reuse the 3 lower bumper bolt holes that hold your bumper on now. I went to Ace hardware and picked up 3 longer (10 MM) bolts with matching "Clip style bolt retainers" that are in the bottom of our rad support now. I replaced the "Clip style bolt retainers" with the ones for my matching 10 mm bolts. :ihih:
I can easly remove the splitter in 5 min if I am not smoking or BS-ing with Wayne and using both hands without the use of a jack.
I can just remove (3) 10mm bolts from the bottom of my bumper and losen the 2 brace bar bolts from the bottom front of the splitter and off it comes. Note : You have to put the (3) 10 MM bolts back on to hold your lower bumper back on.
With the splitter removed the only thing you would see is t-bar braces hanging waiting for its new found friend the G4 splitter to return and be put back on in the same 5 min.ut:

This is Graham from G4. Since the Dragon I've been up to my eyes in fiberglass and foam core board to create the top element of the R53 JCW wing. This downforce generator is ready for rollout as a prototype, debuting at the Cleveland British Pub event June 5th.
Also at this event I will have a prototype mirror solution to the dreaded MINI "ears." I've been searching for a way to get rid of some drag from the car and I think I have found it! -
New pictures released
All of us at G4 have been busy with projects especially working on customer orders from the Dragon. Here, at last are some pictures of our products, some of the prototype shots you may have seen, but the production product shots are new...

More to come as we move forward... -

Hey G4A guys, I got your splitter @ MOTD and love it. I can feel a difference at 80+, but have noticed something at higher speeds. At 100+, the splitter changes angles to higher or lower, depending on what kind of wind I am hitting. It is because of the mounting location. The splitter is connected to the turnbuckles, which is connected to the lower grill, which flexes, which makes the splitter change angles.
IMO, the mounting points need to be the bumper, and not the the bumper cover.
-
My suggestion for the 100 MPH+ group is to remove the bumper cover to access the rear of the grille. Then reinforce the grille so that it doesn't flex. I used 3/16th vertical aluminum strips and 2-ton epoxy to spread the load. Then replace the bumper cover.
The splitter generates significant downforce at high speed (meaning higher than highway speed) and, at those speeds, a stronger bond is necessary.
