Reprofiling a driveway entrance is not an option. HOA community, city owns the curbing and sidewalk the driveway crosses. Thats why I don't own a Ferrari...yeah, thats my story and I'm sticking to it.
This is off topic, but I had to lift the car when we bought our new place. I was literally getting impaled going over the hump between the sidewalk and the driveway. Had to lift the car .5 inch to clear. And now I have the one line that works without scrapping and that requires pulling to the bottom of the driveway all the way to the right, turning the wheels all the way to the left, moving forward about 5 feet and then turning the wheels back to the right. A lot of trial and error to figure that one out. Only works from one side (the grading seems even steeper on the left) and 4-6 inches off in either direction nullifies the entire procedure. So thumbs up for a removable splitter. LOL
Ye, Teresa wants a Porsche next your. You bet your rear end I will be "test driving" one into my garage before I sign the paperwork. :ihih:
Goes for me too--if you have a solution, I'll pay the extra dough for whatever hardware is necessary. I've had to get "creative" on a brake duct install (Way's ducts, love them, but no directions, and it requires a bit of work to get it all in there so it won't move around, worth the end result though), and I'd prefer someone who knows what they're doing to come up with a good solution rather than potentially screw something up. I'm totally down for this, so when you have the time for it, once it's set I'll order. I'll call Wayne when I get a chance--today went to hell in a handbasket, been super busy lately.. Reading back through the thread, I have to laugh--must be exasparating to a certain degree; you guys develop this, and we're all climbing over each other wanting this, that, and the other-just take all of our pestering as the highest form of compliment. It's been awhile since someone has thrown out something that no one else has done before that could actually be purchased; we're all like kids in a candy store...
So how about this KHL setup? KW hydraulic lift system /// KW HLS helps lowered vehicles with low ground clearance to clear obstacles
Here are some photo's of a Group 4 diffuser and the exhaust system installed to make room for the diffusers on my GP.
After the work we've put into our aero aids we could not be happier at the responce. We're taking everything said and asked about into consideration for futher development . This is what we want. We also want to have FUN with our little cars and this is a great way to do it . Mark Group4 p.s. sorry I can't help you with your driveways:sad:
O...M...G!!! Your comment was so totally unexpected, yet perfectly timed! I nearly choked on the pizza I'm eating right now!
The muffler is just beyond the clamp and brace. Its about the size a bread box, and louder than one. :cornut:
I followed Steve home from the Dragon and that thing on back beat burble (as in a normal '06 R53) sounds like a double whip crack! I was kinda shocked!:cornut:
Just came up from the workshop and see all the interest and fun on this thread. How cool. Thanks Steve for sharing your photos. I think when I get some canards designed for the GP and a Wing Tip Extension you will see another noticeable improvement in handling.
