Did I miss something in the past 4-5 months. Finally got some money saved to order some products for Group4 and it seems their website is for sale on Godaddy and I can't find any info on them.
I contacted someone in that group about a spoiler for a clubman got one reply email stating pics and more info coming. Never heard anything else.
Fellows, I am VERY good friends with the owners of the company and I can assist you with anything you need from them. Please feel free to email me at [email protected] and I will get you in contact with the owners. Yes they are transitioning, but the ownership stands for nothing but the highest quality parts and service, and I can assure you this is what you will receive from Group 4 Autosport. Thank you for the patience during the transition. Treasurer of the PittStop MINI Club.
JDUR56, never heard of ya... ;-) G4 is certainly in a transition phase, suggestions and whatnot are welcome. A line of diffusers, splitters, and exhausts should be forthcoming as some kinks are worked out. Nothing but the best in performance, and nothing you can get anywhere else... Stay "tuned"... JDUR56 is a great way to stay in touch... and Nathan, as soon as it's organized you'll know and we'll be in touch to do things proper.
workin' hard on it... this "full time job while trying to open a company website and arrange stuff with suppliers" stuff isn't easy... just wrapped the "busy season" on the paying job and can devote more time to the website... news as we get it, should be soon now!
Hope all the G4 guys are doing well. I was talking with Wayne at the Dragon and he showed me his new scar. UGH
I kept telling him that at his age, he needed to stay out of those knife fights, but you know Wayne. Jim.
Thanks for the update . It's harder to bring products into production than it is to make the prototype most often. It's something that most do not realize, been there done that, keep at it . Randy
Yeah, we're good on prototype and production, matter of fact we're almost all set up there. We're finalizing the diffuser design a bit to allow for the myriad of running changes in exhaust that Mini sees fit to introduce on the R56 (they're getting wider...), fit the front more securely, and on the R53 to best clear the lower control arms. All should tie in with the GP-type lower body aero trays as well. We're also working on a pret-ty cool wing. We're planning on making "parts that just flat work", not bling but function, and testing the heck out of 'em at the track (frankly, that's the fun part!). They're naturally for "off road use only" since certifying them for on-road is well beyond our resources, though we've seen and used 'em on road for literally years now with no reported issues. Heck, I plowed snow - and dirt, twice (don't ask) - with my splitter to no ill effect, your mileage may vary, install with care, etc. and they're still for "off road use only". Once we're set up as a business we'll be set up with a website, pay Nathan as a Sponsor, and make sure we're doing business "right". Last I spoke with Wayne he was doing rather well, relishing his new role with G4 as "Main Advisor and Chief Curmudgeon" (we're still working on titles...) Thanks for the kind words Randy!
How is Mark doing? I have not seen him on the forums in a while and but I did talk with him at the Dragon this year. Oh and Chief Curmudgeon fits Wayne well. He is a funny guy.
Pray for both Mark and Wayne, both are faced with a few challenges (none of which we should discuss on a public forum); know that both are facing their challenges as best they can, keep them in your prayers.
Thanks guys, both are dealing with some family health issues, which takes time and effort and emotion. I know your prayers and good thoughts are appreciated. Thanks also for the understanding as we get "stuff" started back up. We'll be "up" on splitters, diffusers, and exhausts first, working on sourcing wing extensions, canards, and little air diverters/vortex generators (we've got some interesting, subtle, effective designs)... Our intent is not to compete with the good folks already supplying Mini parts, but to provide alternative, interesting, unique "stuff" that also works well and compliments power and handling upgrades with, well, you'll see!
