    Did that last year... Its the second best turkey I ever had!

    (The best one, I ran down with a Humvee on the back-40 of Ft. Campbell... Cooked it with MRE seasonings over whatever dry scrub brush we could find... Made one good bird!)

    I am thankful. It is beyond my comprehension, all the blessings I take for granted everyday. Today is set aside in hope that we may realize just how fortunate we are as a Nation and as individuals to be able to have such a day. Good tidings to all, my friends, family and those I don't agree with, you are there for a reason. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

    So yesterday my son joined us for dinner live on skype from Rochester. We all got to eat together and enjoy hearing how school is going. Sometimes technology is great.

    Imagine our surprise when our turkey was done over an hour earlier than expected...we made it work though...

    Wow....why do I now feel like no matter how awesome my turkey turns out, it'll automatically be inadequate to this? And why can I now not stop salivating looking at this? I am doing this next year.

    As I was just showing this great pic if you guys to my wife, she let me know the same thing happened to the turkey my daughter cooked for us all today. Never knew the difference. :D
