People are entitled to that belief, but not legally allowed to act on that as it interferes with my rights, mostly the right to live, and the pursuit of happiness one. It is a slippery slope when law and religion do butt heads but reasonable accommodation isn't too big an issue. It's when religions start to butt heads with other religions that problems arise. If you're so perfect that you can start worrying about the immortal souls of others there better not be a homeless, hungry, or downtrodden person within a 1 day drive of you.
