Ok, just had a shop replace the clutch so the whole front end was off the car. The other day the headlights went out and then came back ... I assumed it may have been a sensor issue since I had driven under a street light when this happened. Well ... it happened again in a very dark area. Appears to be a bump thing. A bump turns them off ... another bump and they turn on. Now the odd thing ... it appears to ONLY happen when I initially start the car and first get underway. I have not had it happen returning home on our dirt road with a few bumps.
Sounds like the shop did not get something plugged back in good. I would carry it back and have them check it over.
