Any chance you can change to a satellite provider like Dish Network or Direct TV. I've used
Direct before and actually liked there service. Recording shows was never an issue. When your using a provider and they can't seem to fix a problem, it's probably time to change horse, as they say. Satellite providers love to take business away from cables companies, so you'll probably be able to cut yourself a better deal!

I can hook you up with a download site if you are familiar with downloading torrents.

Holy Crap I had EarthLink also but that was the early 90's.
 As a matter of fact they were called "Internet in the Mall" before EarthLink bought them. Damn that was a long time ago.
Dude for real, it time for you to walk into Y2K and get a real ISP like Verizon. TV shows look better, (we have this thing called HD now) Web speed is crazy fast and you can bundle everything together on one bill.
Do not go with Crapcast if you can avoid them as they are horrible.-

Have you ever checked the schedule at TVRacer.com? This guy is pretty good about posting updates when he gets them. He also lists the rebroadcasts that run later the same (or next) day.-

I get confused when I hear people complaining about Comcast because my signal and service have always been great. I'm starting to think what you get from them might depend on where you live as reviews, etc, are all over the map...both literally and figuratively. I just ran another speed test and I'm consistently getting over 120Mb/s down which is more than plenty for me, but a friend about 45 miles away (also on Comcast) gets less than 10Mb/s down.
Anyway, if you decide to consider switching providers make sure you do some research about how other providers are doing where you live, even right there in your neighborhood, if possible. You might find better, you might not.
Back to the subject, sounds like you might need to go the way of torrents. I haven't done it myself but maybe you'll be able to get non-US broadcasts as well for a bit of variety and different views.-

Yeah that does suck about Comcast. That is why I like my Verizon FiOS so much more since they don't do that at all and the speed is insane.
In my area it mostly new construction and everything is wired underground (no tree issues from Rain, Snow or Ice storms) and each house has a dedicated line and each house been prewired with fiber.-

Looks like all you need is a torrent downloader. Get uTorrent, it is the easiest to use. I believe it will even stream the file for you.
Get Started - μTorrent® (uTorrent) - a (very) tiny BitTorrent client-

The only ways I know of are all illegal (torrents), so I don't do them....
Who is your service provider?
TW time delayed the race for me, so while I got it recorded, it was well after the fact.
Google is only about 2 years away from hooking me up - I can't wait!
