@Crashton I just want a rear roll bar. Their's is very nice. The hoop contours to the inside of the coupe. The Coupe has cut outs for your head kind of like the old double bubble had only you can't see them from the outside.
@Dave.0 You're correct I should have posted a link. I may use Skype and give them a call next week. There is a local race shop that could make one but it would not have the fit and finish, I dont think. Also because of the design of the R58 it would have to be assembled in the car. I really dont want a wilder used in the Helmet.

If you click in the picture of their catalog it takes you to a price list. I don't really need one but would like one. I want it to be a very clean installation, no ripping out everything. A guy on Instagram posted the pictures he gave me the name of the company.

On the Heigo unit does the spec sheets tell you how much stiffer the chassis will be due to the extended bracing into the boot? It might require a rear sway adjustment or change before you go off and track the Helmet. Or it might be just perfect out of the box.

You would be better off finding a local race shop and having one custom built. If you track the car you will want it done by a builder that can get it certified and meet all the regulations for a track use. Oh and keep you safe if you ever need it to save your life.
Oh and post a link to the company you are talking about.- Like x 1

One other thing that bothers me.........bolted together at the hoop.
Looks to be a potential weak spot at a bad location.- Like x 1

Lee have you checked with Safety Devices? They are a UK company & make a nice cage that is FIA certified.
Now if they make one for the coupe, that is the question.
Do you want a cage or a rear roll bar? -
Crashton Club Coordinator
Safety Devices sells just the rear part of the cage if that is what you want. MIA Nathan had one of those in his R53.
I had the complete safety devices cage in my rally car/race car. An excellent fitting cage, justa perfect.
That roll bar looks pretty decent. What are the specs? Tubing size, dom, erw or chrome moly tubing, wall thickness?
How does it attach to the floor? -

Find out from instagram-cracker guy how it attaches. Bolt through or weld to the floor. I'm sure for track day use it will be fine. If you plan on wheel to wheel racing that isn't enough.
Also don't forget to pad the bar unless you plan to wear a helmet every time you drive. Well you do wear the helmet, it's a small car.- Funny x 5

I am sure it is a bolt in. The most I plan on doing is some HPD track days. But if I get the bar I do plan on getting a harness and some decent seats, witch is a whole new set of questions.
Am I padding the bar to protect it from my head??
My wife says I am hard headed but come on could I be that hard headed??- Funny x 1
