A gathering of Mini's in the North Georgia Mountains in a little village called Helen Georgia. Germany as you can get from the food to the beer and other spirits. Lots of shopping with a clock shop with hundreds of selections plus about everything else under the sun. We started this as a valentine day but it has grown til we had to move the date back because of the weather, but no one seems to care. This year will be bigger than ever. Helendorf has river side rooms for $79 and others for $59, Just sign up and come, no entry fee to be part of this event. We will have a auction at the Troll Restaurant with Mini Stuff, NASCAR stuff and alot more with all the monies going to the Speedway Childrens Charity. Last year we raised over $1600.00 and this year we hope to improve on that. Tired of all the cold weather come warm up the the Mini' Peeps from all over and lets get 2011 off in style! There will be drives and tours of the Habersham Winery who is bottling our own Mini Wine, last year was Mini Merlot, not sure this year but it will be different. Also the grits mill and gold mine in nearby towns. So get rid of the blahs and come to Georgia. February 25-27th Only an hour or so away from the Dragon..

As promised the prices for the Blitz Wine this year are 12- per bottle for Muscadine 15 per bottle for the Merlot Each bottle will have the Blitz logo and the date on them.. with some cutesy mini stuff.. I had a GREAT time at my first-ever Helenblitz! Met Johngo (he noticed my MA Bowling shirt!) and saw Way, too! I was stopped several times by people who wanted to see the shirt... My afternoon nap became an early bedtime and I missed the auction... :blush2: Looking forward to next year and already planning on coming down Thursday.
We had fun, but Cat got to feeling ill and we headed back down after lunch. She got a nap and I installed a ceiling fan... Much rather been hangin' out in da hills. Had a nice lunch with Way and a couple of other friends, tho. Nice to meet you, Sneeezy!
