Luckily the hand controls were installed by an authorized person.Bought it in March and love driving it.I am moving on with my life being a mom also,a 16 year old son that has been great to me since this happened.

I was raised very well,don't give up on anything and don't take life for granted.I have been moving on very well including a new relationship.I have a new boyfriend in my life now,Robert and treats me right.

As was stated above, there are a few chair bound people in the MINI community. I think you are the first on M/A though.
The way Chris ( MINI-5280 member) wheels his car with the hand controls, you would never expect a wheelchair to be thrown out of the car when he gets out. [emoji3]
Let those mod's begin, and enjoy, maybe even think about going to one of the big MINI events around the country. [emoji12]-

My hand control setup is a Drivamatic Automatic Clutch and hands control system.Mine has the manual transmission and real easy to use.I even taught my son to use it although he is not in a wheelchair.Knows how drive a car with a manual transmission now and moves once in a while.
