I've been a MINI owners for 10-years now, and been a lurker/semi-regular on the NAM for almost as long. But one MINI board is never enough, so I thought I would also check this place out.

My first MINI was a 2003 R53, that I ordered new, and took delivery of in July 2003. I drove her for nearly 10 years, before selling her :( :cryin: :(, after placing an order on a 2013 Clubman S. I finally took delivery of my Clubman last week, and while I still miss my R53, but I am definitely liking the Clubman.

So hello...happy to be here :)

    Ah, welcome!

    A Clubman...love...that....car...

We wanted 4 doors and AWD, so it would not work for us, but I love that chopped, long look of the car. And the rear double doors that open with the gas struts and LED lighting....just too cool.

    Welcome to M/A.

We have a Clubman in our garage too. I'd guess that the Clubman will soon be discontinued, enjoy your future collectible.

I don't know about discontinued...the jump from the MINI Hardtop to the Countryman/Paceman is still pretty big IMO...the Clubman is a perfect middle-ground. However, I doubt it will continue in it's current 3-door form into the next generation.

Yeah, I looked at a lot of things over the past few years...but I kept coming back to the Clubman. Wanted to go JCW, but the realities of life didn't allow that. Still a nice bump in power over my R53...now I just need to me-ify it.

You can add quite a bit of the factory JCW configuration over time as your budget allows, which is a fun project in itself!

Indeed. At some point I'd like to add the JCW bodykit...love that look...but my wife may have other ideas about how we can spend $2k

Until I can convince her, it'll have to be suspension bits...rear sway bar, springs, & whatever else I can sneak in. ;)
