Hi gang! Signing on from Reynoldsburg OH, I am in the process of buying my sister's '07 Cooper S (her new Countryman S is on the boat & on it's way). Looking forward to getting to know everyone here. Previously a huge VW enthusiast ('74 Beetle, '91 GTI 8v, '98 GTI VR6, and now a '99 Passat 1.8T), always loved the Mini & really excited to be joining the fun. Thanks Adam for the pointer to this site! Don
Hey Don, welcome to M/A.... Reynoldsburg eh, graduated from H.S. in 69 there..... I spent my teen years in the "burg", Go Raiders... Consumed lots and lots of Vick's pizzas on Main street....:arf: Now it's mostly Tim Bits at the "gathering" in New Albany...
Welcome and thanks for joining. At first when I saw the location I was wondering if you found the site from one of the many M/A cards I've been slipping on MINIs when I see them. Tagged about 10 last night walking from the Apple Store to Cheesecake Factory in Easton.
Hey Don.... Show up at the New Albany Tim Horton / Wendy's joint this Saturday morning and meet us and see some mighty fine MINI's....
Welcome to MA and MoM. Stop by Saturday and buy us some donut ...you'll be good to go then. Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
I'm thinking we could have a contest to see whose MINI has the best water beading properties....
It's suppose to quit raining at 4:00AM and not start back raining until early afternoon. Mine is washed and shined...Adam, get out there and start cleaning
Mine is dirty & will stay that way. Good honest dirt earned from driving on carpy roads. Edit.... If it is not raining in the morning I'll spend a couple few bucks of my donut money to spray the MINI off at the local coin op.
Picked up my R56 last week while on vacation. This pic is my MINI parked with my sister's new Countryman S: yfrog Photo : http://www.yfrog.com/gzn76olj Shared by don_zielke Here's a closer shot of my car: yfrog Photo : http://www.yfrog.com/hsnurtvuj Shared by don_zielke It's filthy from the rain during the trip in. The car is all stock save the stubby antenna. Looking for a set of 17" alloys now for summer rubber. I'll keep the stock 16's for running the all season Continentals this winter, and then might switch to dedicated winters when they wear out. How often is the Saturday meet up in New Albany?
