Just saw your question.
To tell the truth, I can't really tell. I'm not sure how much the strut towers normally flex. The R56 always felt tight. But if they did flex, they have to flex less now.
I started out with an earlier design where I was going to have an eccentric cam to take up any looseness in the strut to strut dimension. But I soon realized that would not tie the strut bar down as solidly as making it non adjustable as a fully welded structure.
So... That's it in a nutshell. -
