Hi everyone! I'm new here, as you can probably see. I currently own a 2013 MINI Countryman S ALL4, in BRG, and love it! I've named him "Monster," and while it seems quite generic, I think it perfectly matches his looks and personality. He is a little rough around the edges, but is always up for a good time. I've had no problems (though he only has around 25,000 miles)! I don't drive him too hard, as I know many people put MINIs down when it comes to reliability, meanwhile they drive it harder than any normal Civic or Camry. He has so much character, and really makes me happy whenever I drive Monster. (Also, I need to ask a question about paint chips later. I have a couple on the hood, smaller than a pencil eraser, and they're all the way down to the metal.) I feel like it will be cool to have a nostalgic MINI one day, hence why I take care of him so much. I need to get him in for service next week, though. I'll learn how to post any pictures later!
Nice ride in a very good color and Welcome to Motoring Alliance the onlyest MINI Forum you'll ever need !!
Monster as in the energy drink? I may have an addiction, but I'm down to 4-6 cans a day... Welcome to the FB free home of all things MINI! Glad to see another Countryman here!
Welcome to M/A! MINIs of all shapes and sizes are stone magnets. I had a Clear Bra put on the bonnets and front bumpers of my R50 and on my R53. They have no chips. Unfortunately, my wife's R53 does, and it does not have a Clear Bra, but, I can see one in the near future [after first repairing the stone chips].
