    No, you really want to walk in to the dealer's show room and see it sitting there front and center in all it's glory just a'waiting for you. The dealers make it pretty darn special.

    Let the good times roll! I also am waiting on my new Mini Cooper S hardtop that is being born this week. Time sure goes slow waiting for the new member of the family. Safe travels. Enjoy.

    Thanks again everyone! I'm glad to see such a friendly forum. It reminds me of the Vibe forum I belong to.

    **Update** I emailed the dealer and the car will be docking in GA on May the 9th. I think it'd be faster if I just drove to GA myself to get it :p

    Well, I now have the Mini! I absolutely LOVE it! I took possession on Friday and I've racked up 200 miles so far. Today I took it to have the windows tinted: 15% rear and 25% on all others. I'll get some pictures uploaded after the rain moves out.

    I've found the infotainment/navigation system rather confusing, but I'm getting a lot better at operating it.

    There are some tidbits here and there that I find annoying, like not being able to sync the driver and passenger side auto climate control, having to manually turn-on the "rain sensing" wipers every time the car is restarted, and having my passenger side mirror no longer aim all the way down in reverse. The owners manual is pretty useless.

    You are way more patient than I am. When I heard how long I would have to wait for my custom spec. MINI to come from the factory, I picked one off the lot that was closest to my requirements, so I could drive it home that day.
