    Welcome. I have heard the nearest MINI dealer is Seattle, WA from AK. Is there truth to that?

    I'm not entirely sure where in Washington the closest Mini Dealership is, but I always call Northwest MINI is tacoma when I'm having issues with anything. We have a BMW dealership here in Anchorage that services Carlton. They say that this time next year there will be a MINI dealership here!

    Welcome aboard. I was so hoping you were going to say you were from Cordova Alaska and we could see a picture of a tiny MINI motoring around mountains of snow!

    BTW, there are 2 MINI dealerships in Vancouver BC. Personally I take my car to MINI Yaletown. We will be 2.5 hours closer than the nearest one in Seattle. Still a long way nevertheless. For parts DO NOT order from a Canadian stealership!

    Haha no, but we still have record snowfall here this winter. Close to 9 feet on the ground. Poor carlton doesn't get very far without studded tires

    Welcome! I was born and raised in Anchorage and love hearing about MINIs there. The fact that a dealership is opening is so huge to me. Makes me think that one day I might be able to move back!

    Be sure to check out the MINI Motoring Club of Alaska. They seem really active on Facebook and do a lot of great looking drives.
