My MINI has ceased being a color this week. It is the same carp shade of salt as the road. Stealth MINI & I hate that! :incazzato:

 

So, you are driving a portable "salt lick". No problem at all, just go find a herd of cows and they will clean it right up.

I actually have a cow or rather bull licking a car story for you.

In the fall of 86 we had just bought an FX16 Tojota. Think MR2 driveline in a front drive hatch. Hot red 16 valve 5 speed all big stuff back then. Drove straight from the dealer to our friends house in the country to show off our new hot hatch.

While sitting at the kitchen table drinking coffee & admiring our new red sled, here it comes.... A bull walks down the drive & stands next to our new car. He then stuck his nose in the weber grille that was there & snorted ashes. This seemed to really get him pissed. We speculate he smelled the remains of his beefy buddies in there. So what he does next is stick his horn under the back bumper & lift. He was picking up on the car. Then he decides he loves our red car & starts licking the carp out of it. About then the farmer from down the road comes down the drive in his pickup with his son in the back. No way were either of them going to get out of that truck & get anywhere near that bull. They dropped corn out the back & the bull followed them home eating corn all the way. It was the bulls last meal. Amazingly no damage done to our new car. Although bull spit sure does take wax off.

That's my story, no bull.

In the winter all Minis become dark grey. I think that is why so many people buy them Don't feel too bad Chuck my car becomes less red everyday.

 

I have an advantage. The tax base in PA is so low they can not afford chemicals, so a bit of sand is about we get on our roads and I do mean just a "bit".

Been running in NW Indiana snow belt all week. My yellow driving lights haven't helped much because they are packed with snow.

Bet they look like yellow snow globes. I'm glad my car has xenon lights. Not as much for the light which I like, but for the washers they have.

Thank God for sturdy roll cages! Car held up well & with a trip to the dry cleaners his fire suit will be as good as new too.
