2012 Clubman S with just over 11,000 miles is throwing a CEL

Current mods include BSH OCC only

    Codes:
P0116 - Coolant Temperature Sensor rationality Check
P0118 - Engine Coolant Temperature Circuit High
P0128 - Program map thermostat: Sticking in open position
    B2AAA - No idea...?
P173B - CAN Engine Coolant Temperature Invalid

Any ideas or advise would be appreciated. Car is running fine and nothing feels or looks out of place at all. Checked all sensor wires and connectors, checked OCC is free flowing/not clogged when disconnected, all fuses look good... really stumped here and waiting for the dealership to call me back to schedule an appointment.

I am curious if I should be driving the car while throwing these codes (have only driven it a handfull of short trips just to get up to operating temps in the past week since it started)...

You're still warranty. Schedule an appointment. Did the 2012s come with roadside assistance as well? If so, you're covered for the tow too.

I would take it t the dealer to fix for free and get a free loaner.

Yea I am taking it to the dealer tomorrow morning but wanted to make sure it would be ok to drive the 40 miles to the dealer as it is. The dealer said to just drive it.... so that is what I will do...

It did come with roadside but the dealer said they want me to just drive it in so I made him write that on my account and send me a copy just in case this turns any worse on the drive tomorrow.

They only have 2 loaners apparently and they are NEVER available.

As usual Thanks again for the info!

Many/most 2012s got their coolant sensors replaced via a MINI campaign. Mine did, at first service (15k). It hadn't caused any issues...

Took it in this morning and coolant sensor had failed and will be replaced under campaign. Waiting for an update on the stuck thermostat and other codes.

Will update once I hear back.

They were out of loaners and gave me a Ford Fiesta rental on them... I MISS my MINI!!!!!
