Hi all, I am replacing some trim on my e34 touring that has seen better days and wanted to ask if someone could help me with part numbers before I order. I came up with the below answers using pelican parts and real oem. Front Roundel: 51148132375 Driver/Left Door Trim 1: ????? spent a while looking and still no luck Driver/Left Door Trim 2: 51211944419 The trims pieces i am trying to replaces are circled in red in this picture. It is kind of hard to tell in the picture but the is a skinny rectangle of plastic between the side valance and main part of the door if that makes sense. Finding the pieces for the trim in the middle of the door is easy but these are more like weather strips then trim... Last 7 of the VIN to make real oem easy: GF80817 The best I can find based on my looking on realoem is below, still can't find a part number for the rubber piece that goes where I have added the red circle. Was hoping someone a little better with the site might be able have more luck. Thanks!
You should have been looking in the Vehicle Trim --> Exterior Trim category: http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=HK23&mospid=47415&btnr=51_0768&hg=51&fg=20 I think you want items #1 and #2. I'm not sure what #7 is.
I think #1 and 2 are the impact strips higher on the door, but thanks a ton for finding that picture. When I first looked, I had the same thought, but after looking more closely I think the impact strips (parallel but a couple inches higher on the door) are #1,2,3,4 and #7 might be the right piece as other wise there would be too many parts. It does seem like 7 and 8 are "lower" and have the little 3D-ness to the part like the one on the car. Very appreciative of the help!!!
For anybody that finds this thread looking for the same parts here is what I ordered trim wise: Roundel (x2 for front and rear): 51148132375 Driver Left door weather strip: 51211944419 and the tricky one, left fender/weather covering: 51131978193 picked up a new grommet for the covering too as is was 30cents: 51131934160
