Just replacing my valve cover and noticed the new one has an extra port at the back that seems to have a valve inside. It also came with a plug for the port, but the instructions said for US N12 only. Seems to me the plug it should be for the N14, since my old cover has no port there. Or maybe its a new design to reduce carbon build up? Any one know what it is for and if I should plug it or not?

New cover (view of the back - pcv valve on left plus new mystery valve):

    Well Groden.....
All of my synapses were firing today and I just so happened to remember something along this line....
You see, when I don't have a lot to do, I sit around and read Technical Service Bulletins.... Ha Ha, yeah, I need to get out more....

This may help answer your question.....
