    No tips or tricks to offer up, but I am curious to see what you end up doing. I've considered a camera on occasion, and I think my wife would like one in her MINI. Since I have also been considering a rear view mirror delete (at 6'2", that thing blocks my vision when entering right hand corners), that probably limits my choices. And having yet another item hanging off my dash... Maybe some kind small flip screen... hmmm...

    We ordered a Countryman w/ Navigation. Do you think we could use the nav monitor to view aftermarket backup camera feed?

    Not on my MINI but I put one of these on my Scion.

    It works ok, but it isn't integrated enough. suction cup mount and cig lighter power etc. They go on sale every few months for $60.

    I got a camera I'm going to mount right above the license plate, but I'm having trouble finding a NAV interface to put it on the NAV screen.
    Does anyone make one for a 2nd Gen? Mine is a 2007 with NAV.

    I would be interested in this as well - especially if it can utilize the OEM Nav screen
