    Yet again, someone says they will replace rear view mirrors with cameras - but how will they overcome the latency issue (delay between display and real life) that has prevented everyone else from doing this for decades.

    Rear view cameras do seem to be like personal flying machines - always just around the corner but never actually here.

    That's not an issue with modern technology. It was good enough to use at LeMans in 2014: Nissan ZOED racer sets records but stumbles in Le Mans - SlashGear
