My name's Joe. I've got me a green '05 JCW. Here's the thing.. I *LOVE* this car with a passion.. BUT.. It's giving me such headache to drive I have a love hate relationship with it. I am joining this forum in hopes that I can find wisdom to answer the problems I have with my car so I can keep it for years. I bought it at MAG in Columbus, OH only 1 previous owner. He paid just over $28k for it, I paid $13k for it in 2010 with just over 47k on it. Since then I've replaced both back and front bumpers (due to previous JCW kit "falling off because of bad installation", o2 sensors THREE times, I've got brake issues with the 3 light trifecta and it's a daily driver to/from the airport as I travel alot. In other words, my dash looks like a Christmas tree. I've got 99k miles on it now and seems like if I can fix these small problems that I'd like to keep it for a long time. Crossing my fingers that I might find local friends on here that have knowledge to steer me in the right direction! Thanks and great to meet you all! - Joe

Welcome. My wife just happens to be from that area (a couple blocks from the Smithville and Patterson intersection). We get up there every couple years to visit her family. The guys and gals in Mid-Ohio Motoring seem to be a good bunch. They even made me an honorary member. James
