    I think technically you have a Gen 1 car as the Gen 2's did come out in 2007 BUT the Cabrio models didn't switch over for another year or so. You should have a supercharger which is Gen 1 and Turbo is Gen 2 on the "S" cars...

    Opps, First Gen ran to 2008 on the verts, so you have an R52. Sorry.

    Finding out more about your MINI...RealOEM.com is very useful IMO. Just put the last 7 digits of your VIN in and you can find out plenty.

    So, I should probably put this in another thread, but just wanted to let ya know, I picked up my clips ( Mini of Monmouth) . They gave them to me for free, which I thought was very customer friendly :) . My husband and I were able to repair the molding, very easy...

    Hi, Yes it does have a supercharger I LOVE this car !!! Just trying to understand all the terms, and what I have. I didn't get this from a mini dealership, so they didn't seem to know too much themselves..
