I got my production number today. On owners lounge it has a different cars info. Good thing I know not to panic from reading this forum. The stalking has begun.
Re: stalking, oh my yes. Ordered my 2012 MCS early Feb, built 2/24, delivered 3/28 after an extra week figuring out the ECU programming on the JCW tuning kit I'd ordered. "Watched" the ship leave S'hampton, "watched" it dock in Baltimore (for my STL delivery). Was chagrined that I couldn't track the truck it was on from Baltimore to STL...now that's a sickness! I spotted it in STL at lunch, driving from our dealer's cleanup shop to the MINI service center, and even stalked it there before final delivery. Visited it in the shop while they were figuring out coding.
I wish I lived close enough to go by the dealership. Actually I live 4 to 5 hours drive from 3 different dealerships, smack in the middle of the biggest mini void there is, Kansas. I lived in OKC when I got my first one. Went with the same MA and dealership this time. My husband and I will drive down to get her as soon as she is here. Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait.
