    Welcome. South Carolina was number 3 on the list. NC was 7th... either way that's bad out of 50 for both states...

    As someone who lives in and does a lot of driving in NC, I'm surprised we're not lower on the list. In my part of the state there are a lot of poorly designed intersections and traffic lights are being replaced by traffic circles. Combine that with the decades behind road system in and around Charlotte(I77 for example), and the blame for our poor rating should be shared with the careless traffic engineers.
