Hi, Jurgen...Welcome to M/A, albeit belatedly!

I've been reading about your modding adventures and I STILL think you should consider a dark-tinted top of the windshield cover to compliment the window tint you have on the rest of your car. Yes, it goes from side to side of the windshield and it is curved to match the curve of the windshield, but it is only about 4 inches wide at the center by 9 inches at the windshield edge. I have one on my R50 and another on my R53. It helps to keep the sun's glare from your eyes while still allowing visibility inside your car [to satisfy any inquisitive police].

Again, welcome to our modding madness!

That’s looking real good! Are you going to do the black out to the trim?

Ok - been researching this. Tapatalk doesn’t see anything outside of the direct forum is my understanding. Try unsung the website via your browser (mobile or PC)... you should then be able to see it. To explain further, garages is part of an add-on. It’s not the native Xenforo platform. So What I’ve learned is that Tapatalk doesn’t support any of these additional add-ons. Can you try hitting the site directly. If you can’t see it then.. that would be a different problem I would need to research. Also, if you do it that way, you should also be able to create your own garage for your car. Let me know if your willing to try that.. and if so, if you have any issues.

It is a dark window tint that is stretched across the windshield so that it fits its curve. It is applied from the inside. It does not cover the whole windshield, but it protects the driver and front seat passenger somewhat from the sun's glare and also allows police to have a view inside the car from the outside. Check the measurements from my last posts for the commercially produced cover or, just buy a "generic" one to cut and install yourself.

However, you CAN use a tinted windshield strip [at the top of the windshield] so police can still look inside the vehicle. Besides, when applied at the top of the windshield, the strip serves as a true sun blocker of sorts [unless he is driving with the top down]
