Welcome to MA Sam. I'm glab to see you here. I miss running with the LVRSCCA. I'm gonna try to come-up for an event or two before the end of the year.
There is a guy who posts as "k-huevo" He runs a MINI shop in TX. He knows his stuff you might want to reach out to him and get some questions answered. -

Howdy! Good luck on the fixing!

Got the tranny fixed, put back together, stayed stock. First dry run of trans after install, slave cylinder explodes. Two more days until fixed. Man, slaves are extremly hard to bleed. Note, leave unbolted tilt slave to have bleeder valve upright.
Now I have idle issue with P1109 code. Map sensor is pugged in. Code returns after erasing. Car is not even running to set code. So I know its not a vacuum leak. I tried ALLData to diagnose, but it sucks. Doesn't guide to any testing.
Idle at start will be around 3k, then drops to 1200 with rough idling and surge back up then down. Almost stalls. Many have said that the BVP maybe faulty on other sites under search.
I looked over every sensor and harness I touched. I dont see anything loose or not plugged in. Just wondering if there might be something I am over looking. My car has been off the road for a month now. :yikes: -
