    Hi everyone -

    I just purchased a 2008 Mini 2-door hardtop from a friend and am looking for ways to spruce it up. The LCD audio display blacks out when the car gets warm and is completely illegible after sitting in the sun for any period of time. Does anyone have any thoughts on getting this fixed? The local dealership told me that a new LCD panel would be over $2000 just for the part.

    With excitement for my new sled mixed with a tinge of sadness over the LCD panel issue~

    My 08 MCS does the same... basically replace the radio?? interesting....
