    Welcome, and yes, you have definitely found THE Mini community. I was wandering around in the wilderness of Mini forums before Mark, Dave O., Nathan and others introduced me to this site a year or so ago :Thumbsup:

    BRG is a stunning color, and keeps with the British motoring tradition, obviously.

    BTW, Minis on the Dragon (MOTD) is coming up at the end of April down around the TN/NC state line. Your chance to see 700 or so other Minis and it's an incredible amount of fun-really great people. Head over to minisonthedragon.com and check it out...

    Finally, i see you are in the birthplace of one of my two wheeled rides. My Softail CVO was born there in October of 2012. I go to the Homecoming/open house at the factory every couple of years during September. A great time as well!

    Yep. I kept my previous vehicle 21 years as original owner, too (1982 VW Rabbit S).
    Not sure if I'll beat that with the MINI, but I'll try. It still looks pretty new despite
    street parking and daily use except for a thin scratch along the right rear quarter
    and hatch that happened a half a dozen year ago (keyed in a Giant Foods parking lot).
    Oh, and a somewhat pitted windshield, and some minor curb rash on the passenger side
    wheels.

    Yes, it is.
    Both the forums and the cars themselves.
    I've been on at least one MINI forum daily (except some vacations), often 2 or 3,
    for almost 12 years now, and have been taking care of my MINI for the same period of time.
