Welcome to MA!
Sorry not much help. I do know MINIs can have odd problems due to bad batters. But I'm sure your dealers knows that. If your battery is good, being new it should be but check anyway, I would check to make sure all your connections are tight and clean.

Welcome, thanks for joining Motoring Alliance, the FUN and Friendly MINI Community.
Yeah, electrical stuff on MINIs can be weird and difficult to find. Be sure the charging system is all good and strong. Might want to mention to the dealer that it may not be a bad idea to install the latest software from MINI, even if it has been updated might not be a bad idea to "reformat" and rewrite the tuning.
Please let us know how it goes.

Welcome. I would leave it at the dealer 'til they fix the problem (on their dime) and enjoy their loaner program.

Yeah, last time they "rebooted" the system. They mentioned that electrical issues are hard to pinpoint because they don't show up when they read the diagnostic. Luckily I have the same service person as last time, who is familiar with my issues.
Yes, their loaner program is great. Driving a brand-new Pacemen. Not my Roadster but still fun to driver. -
Update...they are manufacturing a new control module. Waiting for it to arrive from Germany.
