You likely can "ignore" members posts.

It can make following threads kind of hard. Better to read their posts, and let your brain filter them out.

Is there any way...
to have these options listed with the thread, like under thread tools? So when yet another thread spins off the deep end, one can just click "Hide this craap" and have it added to the list?

THIS IS UNTESTED - USE AT YOUR OWN RISK
1. You must be running Mozilla Firefox. If you're not, it's free and available at Firefox web browser | Faster, more secure, & customizable.
2. Install Greasemonkey. Greasemonkey is an add-on to Firefox that will allow you to install user-created scripts onto specified web pages. It is available at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748.
3. Install this script: vBulletin - Custom Ignore List for Greasemonkey
4. Click on "Tools", then "Greasemonkey", then "Manage User Scripts", then "Custom Ignore List for vBulletin", then edit the Blocked User variables (at the top, in quotes, first one defaults to "JolietJake") to whomever you like. -

Can this be corrected? -
Anyway, this has been fixed, thanks for bringing it to my attention that anytime a forum area is added a I need to run a job to have it added to the listing.
