I am looking at replacing the grill in the hood scoop for better ventilation. I've read here that all you need is a set of plastic tools like they are used for door panels and radio removal. My question is: do I pry it off from the top of the hood? I have a 2010 S, I do not see any way to do it from the underside of the hood Thank for your time.

Remove the screw from the bottom side and close the hood. Then pull up on the scoop

And be prepared for it to take a bit of effort, and be sure to pull straight up.
