Currently running a '10 MCS, black with white sport stripes. I noticed that the recent model years have the stripes to across the scoop, whereas on mine they skip the scoop altogether. Does anyone sell the stripes for just the scoop? Does anyone maybe sell a scoop with the vinyl already applied? I've considered asking my dealer what it would cost to have them do it, but I figured I should check with you lads first
I think you'll be out of luck doing this with OEM stripes. The double centre stripes that come with a short piece (item 2) to go in the hood scoop, as fitted to Coupés and Roadsters, only come in black, silver and red.
Ahh. Pity, that. Next time I stop in for service, I'll see what it would cost to have them custom cut some strips for me. Knowing Mini.... :cryin:
It would be better and cheaper to have custom stripes made by one of the many M/A vinyl vendors than going to the dealership. You can also go to any local Auto Wrap or sign places and have them installed for much cheaper.
