    the basic idea behind the limited slip is that you couple one axle to the other. via spring loaded clutch packs is the easiest to imagine.... There are lots of variations on that theme. One that is close to impossible to visualize is a torque sensing set up like the Torsen, these just baffle the mind....

    Great video. I've seen a similar old film on how a clock movement works.
