I love the library! It is the uncelebrated hero of the site, IMHO. Nowhere else can I find such a complete packaged reference set. I try and add to it when I can, but I love to be able to go to one place and find a concise 'how-to' without digging through and consolidating posts on 10 different threads from several different sites.

I'd be shouting about that feature from the rooftops!

 

It remains the friendly MINI site without the constant BS that you get from the others, especially the sewing site. Nathan, you have lived into your integrity by doing what you said you would do when you started Motoring Alliance....great site, keep it up!

 

Well Don, you can do what I did. :idea: Get yourself & your friends banned from the sewing site. It was easier than falling off a log. It was great to be welcomed here with open arms.

 

A site for those that like to bicker, and bicker about the bickering.

Unlike this site, where bickering may happen, but is not the predominant feature, and is dealt with, with as little bickering as possible

This site has a bit of everything, friendly and helpful. What else could you ask for? I rather like it here.

I think the site is great. It is much easier to post here and not get some idiotic answer or reply like the sewing site. Of course there is the occasional rant between a few here but that adds some life to the party which is ok.

 

I appreciate the M/A site quite a lot, particularly for the encouragement given to anyone who needs it. Also - A gazillion thumbs-up for the library How-To section.

 

You are doing a great job Nathan. This is a very good place to be.

I agree with DaveO. We could use a better market place. That would keep many folks from having to bother with the nameless site.

 

How about "Gnat's Bargain Basement" or "Garage Sale" or "The MA Dumpster" or "IDWTSA" (I Don't Want This Sh*t Anymore)

 

the format could use some sprucing up........... ala Silicon Investor (SI) -- Stock Discussion Forums
it's just somewhat difficult to follow
