It's real effing cold here and it's getting colder. 14 degrees and windy.

50-60 mph winds this weekend with Monday starting at 2 degrees with high winds that will make it feel like -15 to -25 degrees.

    Oh I can't wait.

I was born in Michigan and found out 40 years ago how easy it was to move. Today it was in the 70's.

Gee, that's not very nice. :prrr:

When I visit there, I prefer to think of them as human cones - which makes driving in Florida more interesting, because every trip is a rolling chicane. :biggrin5:

OMG - I just looked out the window and saw giant snowflakes falling in the yard. There's thunder too. Thundersnow in April?
    :frown2:

Oh, wait - it was just the white petals blowing off the flowers on our giant pear tree.

^^^ I would travel to Minneapolis on business in my former life.... And I do remember the biting cold and the wet leather dress shoes without fondness.... The "crunchy" snow and my hands getting stuck to the door pull on the rental car on my first trip.... Gloves and boots were purchased in the Twin cities the very next day....

Anyway it's 3F here this morning in Columbus with a windchill of -10 to -15F..... Not the same as Minneapolis, but similar.. Stay warm papa-j, and you can have my share of lutefisk....:D I made Swedish meatballs yesterday.... And I'm not sharing those...:drool

11:16 PM in frigid Piqua, OH. Minus 17 degrees F. here right now, and that does not factor in the present wind gusts of 37 mph.

I guess that means it's "colder than a dead witch's teat in a brass brassiere".

Oh don't get me started! After a two hour delay I flew a empty plane in to Indianapolis. Landed at 8 PM in blowing snow. Once I got on the ground I could hardly get to the ramp because of all the snow. One of two aircraft to make it in. All this so I could fly freight out tonight, but because of the weather the company canceled all ops out of Indy. So I'm stuck here another night. It's -13. Took a hour and half to get food last night at the hotel. Today everything was closed so only hotel food. This sucks.
My poor Mini is in the airport parking lot in Memphis freezing its hatch off its 11 there.
I sure hope I get out of here tomorrow. I was going to start my vacation tomorrow.:mad2:

Sorry for the rant blame it on the weather.

What's a lactose intolerant, gluten free vegan to do in a Southern Weather Emergency like this?

(For those of you N of the Mason/Dickson line, at the first warning of snow or cold, grocery stores are overrun with milk and bread hoarders.)

Nope she is all well and good. She was backed into the garage as far back from the leak as possible.

It would have not been a big deal if she did get wet since she currently has about 6 coats of wax on her. :biggrin5::crazy::devil::lol:

Appears the worst is now behind us. Up to about 10F this morning with a high in the 20's today. I might even leave the house today.
