Just above freezing the last 24 hours. A few inches of snow yesterday, winding up withsleet, then freezing rain. There's a moderate coating of ice everywhere since the ground has been so cold lately.
I'm think'n it was 82 here yesterday. 73 with a chance of rain today and a predicted 90 on Sunday! Not ready for that...
Below zero last week, 60 s and 70s this week. Time to go blow the sand and salt and grit off my favorite corners!
Surprise snow this am - about an inch over the last several hours with temp of 28. It was supposed to be a 20% chance of overnight flurries. High of 37 predicted, then 21 tomorrow am. So much for changing to Summer tires today.
OMG - I just looked out the window and saw giant snowflakes falling in the yard. There's thunder too. Thundersnow in April? :frown2: Oh, wait - it was just the white petals blowing off the flowers on our giant pear tree.
Really, over 90 already! Bad air quality alert too. Yikes. First named storm of the season before Hurricane season begins too. Looks like a fun summer ahead, woohoo!
It's in the low 60s here and it's been hailing and raining like crazy most all day. I know there's some out here that won't know what to do...
Hail, torrential rain.Unbelievable! My pond is getting very close to the back door! and they're saying snow tomorrow....
Cold? Uh, no not at all. It's a full century here today, they reported it as 107 yesterday (it was 111 on my thermometer in the truck) and it's supposed to be 109 Wednesday. Not bad though. I can still water twice a week.
