Nathan isn't kidding. Reserve SOMETHING ASAP. You can always change your reservation if something else is available. But likely it won't be and you'll have to get on the waiting list... Last year they started taking reservations early and it was fully booked BEFORE MOTD... which PO'd a lot of folks who expected to re-reserve their cabins while they were at MOTD...
Almost everyone I know who attended this year's MOTD has already renewed their reservation. I'd jump on it quick..however, that said, I noticed quite a few units which sat empty (other than those slated for demo/rebuild).
I was doing the online reservation until I got to the deposit section, am I misreading something or do they really expect you to pay for half of your stay as a deposit? At this point the deposit will be more than my share of the room. I fully expect a deposit but $700 is kinda pricey, and what happens if I don't end up needing such a big cabin?
It used to be if you phoned for a reservation you only got charged for one night, not half. I'm not positive if that's still the case but it's worth a call.
If you wait too long then you'll be on the waiting list. I always book the same room year after year before I leave. If you get a room or cabin, reserve it before you leave.
